Let's start with the important part: It's an active converter as advertised and it works with every keyboard I've used - IBM Model M, Focus FK-2001 and FK-2000 Plus. , tons of old domes with slider keyboards, everything. It's not ideal. From time to time (very rarely) the key seems to get stuck. It's rare enough and the keyboards I've used it on are old enough that I honestly can't fault this converter any more than I can fault the membrane/PCB or the controller on the keyboard. It's a very minor annoyance that I honestly haven't experienced enough to make me angry. Well, something you need to know before ordering this: you may not receive a product with UCEC branded packaging. When I first received my order, the one I received didn't work (my computer didn't recognize it and it got very hot) and when I looked at the packaging it was marked J-SEK, not UCEC. I ended up contacting the seller who told me it was indeed a UCEC product just renamed J-SEK. To be honest I wasn't entirely convinced but they sent me a replacement (with the exact same packaging from J-SEK) which I've been using for 3 months now. Is it possible that this is actually not the same product as the advertised UCEC converter? Yes, but it's such a versatile product that even if this product is that, it's still a decent active PS/2 to USB converter that gets the job done, and that's the point.
