Doesn't work as advertised.

I wanted to use my KVM switch with both my old computer and my new computer so I bought them. The adapter cables (bought two) arrived quickly and connected perfectly to my KVM switch, but as others have pointed out, I had issues with the mouse and zooming in the top right corner of my monitor. I tried six different PS2 mice and they all behaved the same. Can't give positive feedback because of the problem. I bought two and both work the same. I've even tried running the keyboard through one and

Shipping as promised

Bought to use a PS2 KVM switch with a Raspberry Pi, normally works but sometimes "doesn't work" when the mouse doesn't work after switching back to the Pi. Disappointing. I still have a few IOT class computers to try to see if this adapter or the 'new' Raspbian Buster software is to blame. Update: After a few days it became even more unreliable when the mouse didn't activate it. even after restart. Also, after switching, it automatically typed weird characters when the terminal had focus after…

Discards keystrokes on PS/2 cables

This is a normal device and very cheap. As other reviewers have noted, the USB connector isn't very firm, but that wasn't an issue for me, even with the adapter hanging vertically rather than on a flat surface. So a little loose, but tight enough. The PS/2 connection is very strong. However, it shows up as a USB "Barcode Reader". Strange. I only use this for the keyboard and haven't tested it with just the mouse or keyboard+mouse configuration. Now for the bad: It's missing keys, sometimes two…

It works out! - Cables and accessories

I give this good product * because of transparency - It has no transparency at all. I give this good product * for the thickness. This product is too thick. I give this product an overall rating of ***** because it is a very good product. I have an old Kinesis keyboard. It was gifted to me by one of the top bosses in the computer industry. I've typed hundreds of thousands of lines of code on this keyboard. I took it apart, soaked the keycaps and washed every part of it many times over the…

Good converter at a good price.

Let's start with the important part: It's an active converter as advertised and it works with every keyboard I've used - IBM Model M, Focus FK-2001 and FK-2000 Plus. , tons of old domes with slider keyboards, everything. It's not ideal. From time to time (very rarely) the key seems to get stuck. It's rare enough and the keyboards I've used it on are old enough that I honestly can't fault this converter any more than I can fault the membrane/PCB or the controller on the keyboard. It's a very…

True Converter - Runs on macOS with IBM Model M Keyboard

PS/2 USB keyboard/mouse splitters are definitely NOT all the same. Most of them are just adapters, not real converters. And of course, the vast majority of them are only generic brands, making them difficult to research and have little to no driver support. It gets even harder when you want to use this on macOS. After a bit of research, I came to the conclusion that this particular device would actually work on a Mac. As there are multiple brands I mostly had to go with the picture and the long
