Purple works great for just about anything you need to hold on to without worrying about damaging the item later if you ever take it apart or replace it have to. Great for EDC scope knives and firearm optics mounts. I've used blue in the past and it works great for firearms if you want to mount it and forget it, but one bad side of the blue guy is when you change optics like I do in competition like putting in new batteries before a big one Event a few times a year, then purple helps a lot with less risk of loosening the mounting screws, blue can sometimes be too strong. All in all, both blue and purple are great... Use blue if you want to set it up and forget it for years to come. Use purple when you want to set and forget but still be able to remove screws with less risk of damaging or stripping screws on optics such as red dot scopes. * Both purple and blue only use a small drop, just enough for maybe 2 or 3 threads on your screws and that's enough trust me... Don't cover max 3 threads with blue unless you want to go to the armory to get the stripped screws.
