When I first received this comforter, I was quite comfortable on the low setting and hot on the medium setting. High was too hot so I never used that setting. In less than four months of use, the blanket is now barely as warm on high settings as it originally was on low. The material is also quite thin, so it doesn't work very well as a regular blanket without electric heating. I would recommend finding another blanket with a thicker material and better components instead. I hooked up a multimeter to the blanket and found that it randomly drops to 0.4W when the controller claims the blanket is on, or doesn't rise at all when I select the heat level. If the blanket is still running, it will randomly draw between 20W and 40W, regardless of the heat setting. The controller says it's rated for up to 180W, so it's no wonder this blanket doesn't work. Electronics are nonsense.
