AAA batteries don't last more than 4 hours, handles are small and difficult to move making tuning the radio station difficult, solar panel always charges when turned on in the sun will, but will not hold a charge more than 20 minutes, even if still in the sun, the crank will work longer, but turning 5 minutes to get 5 minutes is ridiculous. I had an Eton radio for 14 years and it was great until it fell off the shelf. I've been trying to use this radio for a couple of weeks but have concluded that it's junk. Unfortunately, it's $30 worth of junk. It just doesn't hold a charge and my regular AAA batteries die in 4 hours.
