This purchase was the culmination of a long search for a quality dishwashing sponge. Received this pack of 24 sponges just under two weeks ago and put one to use straight away. Decided to write a review if it breaks. That first sponge still works - no bacteria, no smell, the scrubber hasn't lost its effectiveness, there is no separation between the scrubber and the sponge. The search is over! My husband and I are gourmet chefs and we cook all our dishes at home and rarely eat out. This results in maximum use and wear and tear of the kitchen sponge, which can only be achieved with commercial use. We were disappointed with all brands tested: stench after a short time, sponge material decomposed, scrubber and sponge separated, scrubbers lost their effectiveness. Since synthetic sponges are resistant to bacteria and do not have an unpleasant odor, the search for synthetic models with flat scrubbers began. Those wavy scrubbers are useless. Options were limited, expensive, low quality, and fell apart after a short time. Revain was the last resort, but... Wow!... Are we ever glad we tried the HOMMP No-Scratch Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge?
