I love this thing, it's one of those electronic all in ones that gives you way more than you paid for . Comes with a nice sturdy stand which makes a big difference with these microscopes. I bought one for my son and all his cousins they love them. Sturdy, easy to use, fair price, this microscope is not powerful enough to look at creatures in pond water or blood cells or similar, it's more like a magnifying glass with very high magnification and a very handy monitor on it. This allows you to take photos and videos of what you are watching. Sometimes it is useful to have a little more light on the sample than just the light provided by the microscope. Ideal for viewing coins, circuit boards, bugs and the like :-)
