Review on 3M Aqua Pure Whole Replacement Filter: Unmatched Filtration, Pure Water Guarantee by Oscar Ferrell

So far, so good. I bought it to reduce chlorine in the shower. Our eyes kept burning, and then we started sneezing endlessly. Now we can comfortably shower day and night without the smell of chlorine. I will update if filter life is not as promised. Two months after installation. Go strong. For the pre-filter, I had to replace the clear body with a blue one due to algae growing on the filter media. I did a water quality test and posted it on Amazon for anyone wondering what the water quality is like. I will continue to do quality tests and see how long the filter is really good and post updates. ******* Update ********* So it's been 5 months. I test my water regularly with professional equipment. My normal average water chloramine level is 3.95 and this does a pretty good job of removing almost all of the chloramine. However, it now rises and only filters about 75% of the chloramine out of the water, so I will be replacing the filter with a new AP910R. I know the advertised duration is 1 year but then again my chloramine levels are a bit high and we have a family of 4 with 2 young children who may need some shower time. It doesn't help that we have a water heater that prolongs that usage, as well as an on-site reverse osmosis system that burns a lot of water. All I said was I added all the water we used and we used about 25,000 gallons. I suspect we could get 8 months out of the system without excessive water usage, but as it stands with the pre-filter, we're looking at $454/year to replace a new pre-filter and that filter together asap in the system failed. Efficiency 25% every 5 months. Update 11/10/21 We have stopped using 3m brand filters and are now using American Filter Company filters which lasted a full year. Not sure if they just use more charcoal or something but they were awesome and the 3 pack was $90 for the filter. It was a much better filter and had no trouble fitting it.
