It's a filter and it filters things.

The product support is responsive, the product is great, and the assembly system is ingeniously simple. It's funny, but despite its simplicity, I initially had trouble connecting the filter. Inside the fitting is a piece of plastic that moves freely and when it is rotated a certain way the filter is not able to rotate and lock like it should. After rotating it a bit and inserting the filter, I've had no trouble removing and replacing it since. In my opinion, reverse osmosis removes too many…

Filter works great, lasted 23 months for my family of 4 with the right sediment pre-filter

Conclusion: This filter works great and will treat your water look great, smell and taste great. Put a sediment filter in front of it to keep it from clogging with large particles. Your mud filter should allow you to use cheap replacement cartridges or use a wring filter that you will never need. It got so bad we felt like we just got off.

Our domestic water has always smelled of chlorine, but in the last 6 months it has increased significantly. It got so bad that we felt like we had just stepped out of a public pool after a shower. Installed this unit a week ago with a Watts WH-LD sediment pre-filter. Our water system does not smell or feel like chlorine. Pretty amazing. Works fine with **update** so far.

So far, so good. I bought it to reduce chlorine in the shower. Our eyes kept burning, and then we started sneezing endlessly. Now we can comfortably shower day and night without the smell of chlorine. I will update if filter life is not as promised. Two months after installation. Go strong. For the pre-filter, I had to replace the clear body with a blue one due to algae growing on the filter media. I did a water quality test and posted it on Amazon for anyone wondering what the water quality is
