I keep them because kids donate to animal shelters.
. If they weren't I would have returned them. They're a little awkward to wear over jewelry and rather unattractive on top of that. I don't see them exceeding a snug fitting hook that is easier to position and clamp onto the branch (rather than sliding along the length of the branch). As with crochet, nothing is done if the "cap" is separated from the decoration itself. I'm hoping to find another use for them (maybe use them to keep cables in order or.).
