Review on ๐ŸŒก๏ธ Taylor Precision Products Instant Read Meat Food Kitchen Cooking Thermometer with Roasting and Yeasting Capabilities by Tammy Larsen

Great product!: Meat

I've had about a dozen digital and analog meat thermometers ranging from $10 to $200 and this thermometer is the best of them all. This glass thermometer shows readings very quickly. It can remain in the meat during cooking, and that's for sure. Glass thermometers have fewer calibration problems than any other type of thermometer. The problem with glass is that it's usually fragile and slow. Taylor did an excellent job encasing the thermometer in a stainless steel case, meaning it's protected from breakage. In addition, as already mentioned, this thermometer provides a reading quickly. In fact, it's faster than some of my stainless steel dial thermometers. One thought I have to share is that while Taylor states on their packaging that this thermometer is dishwasher safe, I wouldn't put it in the dishwasher. Soap can get between the stainless steel and the glass, and I don't want to risk the dish soap seeping back onto what I'm cooking. I will only hand wash it.
