Good mic, great value, great customer service

I teach at a small college and bought this mic to help prepare for online classes and for video sessions with my students after the campus was closed due to the pandemic. The microphone works well, has good sound quality and is very versatile. The PowerDeWise microphone is available in several packaging options, each with the same microphone but different adapters and packaging, or no adapter at all. This pack is advertised for Android phones. , but works with any device with USB-C inputs. I use it with a 2020 iPad Pro and a 13" MacBook Pro (with USB-C ports). It works well with both devices - they recognize the microphone immediately and use it instead of the built-in microphones. The sound quality is good. The Kit includes a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter, an extension cable (the built-in cable is 6 feet long and the extension cable gives you an additional 6 feet), a lapel clip, and a small, lightweight foam case that has it all The supplied USB-C to 3.5mm adapter was defective. I contacted PowerDeWise and they fixed the problem for me immediately free of charge. They were very friendly about this and also apologized for the inconvenience. I'm very happy with that Customer service. For the price this is a great mic with packages that make it useful in a variety of use cases. My only concern is that the mic cable is very flimsy. It absolutely works fine, but over the years I've found that thin cables like this are prone to short circuits. Once you're done with the mic, you'll likely need to coil or roll up the cord so you can put it in your bag along with other packages. It can last forever but I just can't speak to durability until I've used it for a year or more. If you have more money to spend, you can probably find a microphone with a more durable cable. . But for the $29 or so I paid for this mic, I'm not complaining. My advice: Check out the different PowerDeWise microphone package options and get the cheapest package that suits your needs. At the time of purchase, the bundle with the 3.5mm USB-C adapter was $10 cheaper than the bundle without the adapter. If that's still true, then get this one, even if you don't need an adapter. If you've bought a lot of different devices over the years, you may already have the adapters you need, or you may not need an adapter - then just buy the cheapest pack - the mic is the same in all packs. .To sum it up, highly recommended - the mic works well, the customer service is quick and very helpful, and the packages make the mic useful in a variety of use cases.
