This review is for a different model of the Nut Smart Locator but I suspect the internals are the same and I know the app is the same. I bought this in a fit of rage after losing my keys once too many times. But the duration of my anger is limited by the time it takes for my dumb phone to turn on, the app to open, and the app to connect to the Nut device and beep. Don't get me wrong, Red's anger has had plenty of time to get out of control, but anger that would have split into two narrowly focused directions, my keys and me for being stupid, is spreading. . It splits in several directions: some to my stupid slow phone, some to a stupid app that won't open, and some more to the Nut device because it takes so long to connect (about 7-10 seconds). Bottom line, thanks to this product, I am able to prevent individual rage currents from reaching a critical level where something breaks. If you don't understand what I'm talking about, you probably aren't the Red Kid, or you haven't spent much time with him. If you're a redhead kid, know him or hate God and birthed him, you understand EXACTLY what I'm talking about! Bottom line, it works and works well.
