The 2021 Ford F150 should be depegged. Won't work if you don't.
I asked questions about this product to verify its suitability and I was assured that the tailgates had not been modified in years. The answer was a bit sarcastic. I don't think he really knew what he was talking about. Newer Fords have attachment points on the tailgate that prevent the item from working. Not suitable for 2021 F150. Okay, it works, but only if you're willing to permanently remove the new tailgate brackets. A slight modification but I like the attachment points on the tailgate.
