He got him safely from point A to point B and gave him enough room to run around. He was comfortable heading into his new home and I had peace of mind that he would be safe too. I never dreamed of putting my chihuahua there. He has a large, decent-sized pet carrier that he bought at a local pet store. I was nervous getting this item because of the bad reviews but after reading it I realized these are disgruntled dog/cat owners. Check the dimensions of the product before purchasing the product. It's better to be too big than to crowd the animal. It stresses her more than it should. If you are transporting a small animal (gerbil, guinea pig, hedgehog, etc.) this works great. Just remember to put something soft on the bottom to keep them cozy! My little hedgehog will still curl up in it and sleep when he's around. I try not to use the rotate feature in this product simply because I don't save it. I'll leave it open in case he wants to explore. This makes it much more convenient, so if I need to take it somewhere I don't have a handful of sharp needles in my hands! Needless to say this is a good product and makes my little pet happy. Don't be fooled by negative comments if you own a small pet.
