Oh my god! Since going vegan I've downed over a dozen cans of VeganSmart. Now I have found that the Environmental Research Center (ERC) attorneys have challenged VeganSmart as follows: - 2011: for failure to disclose the lead content of Naturade products; and - 2018: because the lead and cadmium content of Naturade products was not disclosed. According to the ERC, disclosure under Proposition 65 is required only for California residents. . . Sorry, if you live outside of California, Naturade is not required to affix a warning label to any Naturade product you purchase. (God, I wish I lived there.) Now I'm considering getting tested for heavy metals. I assume so.
