This is AWESOME. Yes, they cost more than craft ties, craft string, or hair ties. BUT they are very cute and very comfortable. They don't pull my ears forward, they don't chafe, I can adjust them as needed and I haven't had any durability issues since I hand wash my masks. Since using them, I haven't had any issues with rubber bands that are too short and miniature ear loops sewn in. I simply sew these pieces along the entire length and adjust them with the adjustment key. I'm new to sewing and found it so frustrating to spend all my time on the mask only to screw up the last step (based on the way I sew on the elastic, this is almost impossible to repair without completely tearing the outer edge of the seam). ).
