A great concept for all right-handers: now you can actually PICK with your dominant hand! I constantly have to read numbers and divisions upside down on ordinary tapes - WRONG! And I'm not going to mark with my left hand - it just won't work. The case may be thin, but the band itself! Ah, this is where this device shines. I may try adapting the band to a self-locking band case as that would be more convenient than a slip button to lock the device. For some people who measure in inches almost exclusively, it would be more convenient to have an inch scale on the bottom, but personally I use the metric side for almost everything. If I'm wrong by a millimeter it doesn't matter, ±1mm at three meters (±10 feet) is an acceptable tolerance.
