Review on Belltech 25004 Lowering Lifting Shock by Joshua Vogel

I bought these racks with the intention of lowering the front of my 2018 Silverado 1500 4WD. When I reassembled the strut, the spring simply rumbled inside the strut due to the piston rod being too long and the spring not being tensioned. Of course, once you put the rack back in place, everything is pretty much held in place. Unfortunately, it's very difficult to guarantee that the spring seat will line up with the top plate at this point, and there's no guarantee things won't move if you hit a big enough bump or lift them back up. Not quite the "performance" drop kit I was hoping for, but it works. Another issue I had was that the number of spacers required to achieve the desired drop that the instructions stated was incorrect. If I compared the stock height to the OEM shock, it would raise the spring seat by about a half inch. I've added a before and after photo of the stock height versus the 1.5" front and 3" rear drop.
