I was so excited to get my new thermometer and enjoyed using it on my Thanksgiving turkey. Well, the turkey read 160 degrees Fahrenheit, but it looked undercooked. So after the holidays I tried to test the device's calibration with a cup of boiling water to see if it was registering correctly. Unfortunately it isn't. I called the company phone number provided by Revain and the OXO representative agreed that the device was not properly calibrated. The outcome of our conversation was that OXO would send me a replacement. Not only am I impressed that OXO stands behind their products, I am also impressed that Revain has made the relevant information easily accessible to achieve the high standards it takes for a consumer to be satisfied with their company's product purchase .
