I bought a trellis and two extensions to confine my 74 lb AmStaff to the kitchen. He can jump and climb despite being a stocky guy. He levels gates that are set for compression, so I needed something that could be attached to the door frame with hardware. I used longer screws than the ones provided to attach the hinge and latch and although the whole thing felt wobbly it held up despite bumping into it and eventually climbing over it. NOTE. I highly recommend running 1-3/4 inch PVC pipe over the top horizontal bars of the extension. They roll down and your dog cannot climb over them. .
