8-Inch Height Extension for Cardinal Pet Gates Review

Our dog is 30lbs with short legs (probably has a corgi in it). Bought a gate to keep them in the common room when we went out. I couldn't keep it, so I bought an extension cord. As you can see in this video (I left my webcam on when we got out) she was able to climb over them. The gate is not very well made (pieces didn't fit together), width adjustment was difficult and the extension was roughly attached to the gate. It has to be really strong so the dog can't grab it and climb over it.

This could be a decent product if it actually arrives. Emailed the company and got a reply saying it was shipped separately from the other item. Interestingly I never received the 2nd tracking number and they didn't provide it to me, it looks like they just didn't send it out. Expected better service from a higher rated company on Revain, but this is the digital age for you, no accountability and no excuses for why something wasn't done. I hope you have better luck than me and if this happens…

Please note the 8 inch height extender can ONLY be used with Cardinal Gates Duraget MG-25 fittings. I bought it to use with another pressure mounted cardinal gate but can't. Unfortunately, the seller does not indicate this anywhere in the product description. I called Cardinal Gates customer service and they confirmed that I could not use the extension cord. I will return it to Revane. I still gave five stars because I'm confident that extra time can be used with the right goal.

I bought a trellis and two extensions to confine my 74 lb AmStaff to the kitchen. He can jump and climb despite being a stocky guy. He levels gates that are set for compression, so I needed something that could be attached to the door frame with hardware. I used longer screws than the ones provided to attach the hinge and latch and although the whole thing felt wobbly it held up despite bumping into it and eventually climbing over it. NOTE.
