I was hoping this antenna would provide as good a signal as a Proxicast 4G/LTE (MIMO) 7-10dBi cross polarized high gain antenna . I figured I could save a few bucks by not buying LMR400 cables as this antenna comes with 5 meters of cable. Compared to the Proxicast with a gain of -113 (RSRP) dBm, this antenna could only deliver a gain of -122 (RSRP) dBm. A 3 dB loss corresponds to a loss of 50% of your performance. I don't know if the cables or the antenna are the cause of the signal loss as the cables are permanently attached to the antenna. Swapping cables for the correct polarization has also been tested.
