they work fine. When one of the plastic plugs broke.

They were about 1.5 inches longer than the original stands but once installed they work perfectly. One of the plastic plugs broke when hit with a large piece of wood to fit over the "knuckle" where the brace attaches. I don't know if the originals were made of harder material.
