For never having to need to plug any mtb tire. I used this kit in Moab after getting a god sized hole in my tire tread. I used the recommended two pieces of tire sealant, one each color and poof no more tire issues. With my hole being right next to a know on my mtb tire I didn't cut off the extra lump after pulling out the insert tool. I let Moab slick rock wear it down to an unnoticeable "extra" knob in my tire tread.
