Good camera system but some issues

No internet connection and good picture immediately gave this camera a few points. I found this camera and monitor to be exactly as advertised, the line of sight and drywall range is amazing. I couldn't find a single spot in my area that didn't have perfect coverage. The video produced by the monitor is pretty good, I don't know what the resolution is, but it records in 480P to the SD card inside the monitor (not included). The camera also features an SD card slot and records in true 1080P resolution. The monitor has very good color reproduction and a clear picture. The sound alarm is very sensitive, but the beauty is that you can set the alarm to only wake the device at a certain threshold of tones. Thresholds are ideal for monitoring a child's room, but I wish they were less sensitive than even the lowest settings for other purposes. Pros: 1) Well built feel and the design is very well thought out. 2) A good camera system that allows you to press the pan and tilt button instead of swiping your finger across the screen. 3) Finally a system that doesn't come online and requires my GPS location to be activated on my phone to use the app. Finally real privacy! 4) Incredible line of sight range. I tested it at about 450 feet and had no problems. I think the line of sight at 900 feet can be extended, but that's way more than I'll ever need. 5) Two recording systems, one in the camera and one in the monitor. You need SD cards for this. 6) Image inversion for ceiling camera is in the menu 7) Very good mounting system. Cons: 1) Sometimes it disconnects and I have to disconnect the camera and then it reconnects. This has happened once so far. 2) Night vision is grainy even at 5ft. 3) The sound in the chamber is low, it almost sounds like a ghost is whispering to you. 4) I wish it had a motion alert and not just a sound. 5) It would be nice if the camera and monitor were linked with a password. I doubt anyone else within 900 feet of my office has the same system, but it would still be nice to have that extra protection. 6) The range when passing concrete dropped like a cliff. I tried two walls and the range dropped to 30 feet. 7) You can reverse the image, but the controls cannot be reversed. So the ceiling mount takes some getting used to. It was pretty much the camera system I needed, it has so many uses beyond just watching a baby. I use it to monitor my pantry at work and it's very convenient that the image only turns on when someone enters the room. I can also direct them to source items or ask a member of staff to check stock levels on a particular item while they're there. It sits on my desktop and just fixes a ton of potential problems for me.
