I think this is false advertising. The wording suggests the tie is already tied, but it's not! If you're struggling to tie a tie, you can get very frustrated, especially if you're ordering it for an event and there isn't enough time to exchange or return it. Yes the tie links on YouTube are good links and very helpful and I went there and learned enough but my question to the community was sincere and I wanted to know exactly how to tie this tie myself but I got it rather vaguely worded p, although I should have been very specific. I was dying to know how this tie could be called "self tie" when it is in no way a self tie. It needs to be tied in a slipknot of sorts like any other tie. Seller must remove self-binding link from description. As a general aid to others, it fit my 5″ 2″ boy well and was only a little short once buckled. This tie lasts 6 months and continues to grow beyond that. I hope my complaints will spare someone some frustration.
