Very stable metal construction. Much thicker than a typical overlay, almost 1/4" thick at the edge (6mm). I had to add plastic washers under the GFCI to make the exhaust port flush with the board surface on some of them. The mounting screws are significantly longer than usual and I had to drill a gap for this (or trim, which I didn't want to do as they have a bronze finish to match.) But it was worth the effort - I'm very happy with the quality of this finish.Judging by the packaging, Richelieu I can't find out where it was made but this cover will be long I ordered two but they look sharp enough I'll get more for the rest of the outlets in the room.
