Update: I've owned this grinder for almost 3 years and I'm still working like a champ! is it noisy Yes, but it grinds coffee beans, so it makes noise! No deal breaker. Is it dirty when emptying the chamber? Yes, too, but I haven't found a coffee grinder that isn't dirty. Grinds consistently, great coffee! The best thing is that it didn't break after a few months, which is what I see in reviews of almost every brand. I recently purchased a Secura Burr grinder, partly based on the great reviews. I've been using it for a few days now and I'm shocked no one has mentioned what a mess it makes! The bases go everywhere. After looking at the reviews I found that very few of them even mention this coffee grinder. Most of them are for the French press. Very disappointed in Revain for misrepresenting such a product! UPDATE: I've been using this grinder daily since January 2019 and it consistently grinds evenly and my coffee is excellent! Yes, there is a bit of a mess when I throw ground coffee in the filter, but I haven't found any grinders that don't. Update: 06/21/2021 After more than 2 years of daily use, this still works great. It's a mess when you're pouring ground coffee, but I haven't found a design that doesn't. Worth grabbing some coffee grounds from the counter as they make amazing coffee! I highly recommend it!
