I've owned this product since February so about 4 months is enough time to get to know it. I wish I could rate it higher but I can't. I'm a serious coffee drinker and not a thermometer/timer fanatic, but I enjoy a good cup of coffee (or three) every day and that's the problem. Wonderful little machine. Our old Cuisinart grinder cost a lot more than we bought it a few years ago. We've had issues for a while but have put off another purchase due to our preference for burr grinders, which we expected to be expensive. We decided to try this option and are very glad we did. It's much smaller, much quieter, and gets the job done quickly. The two-year guarantee is also great. We will not hesitate to buy a Secura product in the future.

I thought this grinder would be a smart buy based on general reviews and online comparisons, but I couldn't get a decent grind on any of the grind settings. Update: I've owned this grinder for almost 3 years and I'm still working like a champ! is it noisy Yes, but it grinds coffee beans, so it makes noise! No deal breaker.
