Compact - good picture and good sound

I didn't think I'd buy another portable DVD player with all the digital streaming options available, but I travel a lot and have found that internet speeds in many hotels aren't good enough when it comes to streaming almost impossible (or annoying if you don't say more). Earlier this year I bought a large DVD player with rubble that worked great, but I also needed a smaller one. After some research I bought this 12.5" ieGeek model. The price was right and it supports many file formats including: CD, DVD, DVD+R(-R), DVD+RW(-RW), VCD, SVCD -R(RW), CD-R(RW) and also VOB, AVI, MPEG, MP3, WMA, JPEG media files via USB input or SD card slot The DVD player came well packaged without Issues The player looks sharp, although the glossy finish certainly draws prints The compact remote control contains a button cell battery, which already has many built-in functions but doesn't have a backlight, and the buttons are small, making it easier to use the DVD player to control in the dark using the built in controls (see image). In terms of picture quality I'm very happy with the screen. The screen is sharp and clear with great viewing angles and the screen tilts up and down easily with a central hinge pan down and back and forth the DVD player's stereo sound is decent. Even in a noisy environment, I can still see and hear a movie at medium volume. One of the features I like is that after turning the DVD/media player off and on again, the DVD will play from where you left off. off This DVD player can also be used to listen to CDs or MP3s stored on a flash drive or SD card. The sound from this DVD player can't compete with a full-fledged stereo system, but it still sounds pretty good. I can also turn off the LCD while playing music to save battery life. I've only just started using this DVD/Multimedia player but so far I'm happy with it and looking forward to taking this player with me when I travel. (A 12V charger is included.) I'm also looking forward to trying out some of the multimedia options. Once I do that I will update this review.

Pros
  • Screen Sync - 1. With the AV-RAC cable, you can connect it to your TV so you can enjoy your favorite movies on the big screen. 2. Two identical DVD players can also be connected with an AV-AV cable, so the same movie can be watched on two players at the same time.
Cons
  • Little things
