The Chromecast remote turned out to be extremely slippery and needed a cover for it, but the selection wheel also had problems. Since it was fairly flat all around, it was very difficult for me to feel if I was in the right spots for the up/down/left/right/select keys. This case was the only one that partially covered the selection wheel and I'm so glad I bought it! With little rubber hands and now a recessed center, it's MUCH easier to find the right spot by touch. The remote also feels a lot better in my hand as it's no longer a slippery pebble that I feel like I'm about to fall over on. I find the small antennas at the top pretty stupid and don't know what they are for, but to be honest they didn't bother me that much. I didn't realize they were there. But if it starts to bother me, I know I can easily trim them off for a plain top.
