I do not recommend this adapter. My USB-C cable kept falling out of the adapter. It does not make a solid connection on the female end. The slightest movement in the cable and it immediately falls out of the adapter. The USB 3.0 connector works perfectly. At first I thought it was a defective cable, but when I checked the USB-C cable connector against other USB-C connectors, it turned out to be nice and neat. This adapter is inexpensive but not functional. Pay more and get a branded fork or a higher quality fork.
