Review on πŸšͺ Convenient and Stylish HASHI 4 inch Antique Bronze One-Touch Semi-Automatic Door Stop with Height-Adjustable Rubber by Kirk Womack

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very easy install, looks good, holds the door well out of the wind

Easier to write. I used lined stone to hold the door which tends to slam in the wind but of course it hurt so it was easy when I saw it on Revain. The installation took only three minutes. I simply attached the template provided to the door and touched the floor - the template is shown in the first photo - used a razor blade to mark the three screw locations, then used a screwdriver to secure the doorstop with the three self tapping screws install provided. (My door is a heavy old wooden door from 1941, and I still haven't had to pre-drill any holes.) Nothing else is in there. The up and down mechanism works perfectly, as in the video. The only potential downside is that on smooth floors like linoleum, the doorstop, while not really marketed as a safety feature, doesn't completely stop the movement of the door. It doesn't move in strong winds, but if I press hard on the other side of the door, I can move the door. I'm assuming (?) that this doesn't apply to carpeted floors. By the way, it says it was made in Korea. Either way, the design and construction is well engineered, easy to install, looks good, works well and most importantly, it's a pleasure to have in place!

Pros
  • HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT - no tools required, up and down 0.3 inch
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for seniors
