The pin is not centered to open the valve and allow air in the tire. You lose more air than you gain. It works when you play with it first, but if you're doing 80# knee duels, it shouldn't be necessary to center the pin before touching the valve each time. Another piece of cheap junk! If it cost more I would return it but it's not worth my time! I just received an email from Lawrence regarding my review. He pointed out that the pin could be removed without "interfering with use" and which cartridge was leaking? I asked without a pen how does the tire valve open? Obviously they have no idea how an air cartridge is supposed to work! EDIT 5/29/19: It was great working with your CSU. I got an unconditional loan. They also revised their product and sent me a newer version. Once received and used I will post an update.
