First use was for Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies and I was disappointed. The dough was too soft for this tool to be effective. The batter stuck to the silicone, making the spoon virtually useless without another spoon to scrape off the batter. I'm trying harder cookie dough and have high hopes for success. Design suggestion: I would suggest removing the sharp edge that digs into my fingers when picking up the dough (with a big spoon). I'm not sure how I would even use this edge for cutting cookie bars since I don't usually have a 3 inch strip of mugs, I have a full pan. I'll probably bring the heat tool to the sharp edge to smooth out the sharpness. I was able to get the spoon at a very good price and I don't regret the purchase, but plan to replace it with a traditional cookie spoon.
