If you need smaller biscuits or even different sizes, this biscuit scoop is PERFECT! I made several dozen cookies twice as fast with this spatula as I did with the other spatulas simply because I was able to squeeze out the batter faster compared to the other spatulas and kept the batter in the cup. I LOVE IT!

Quick, easy, same size cookies

I really love my cookie scoop. The cookies are the same size and it goes so fast. My son also likes to help me. I read some of the reviews before buying and complained that the dough sticks and it just doesn't work. I lightly squirted vegetable oil on top, rubbed it in and I had no problem with the batter coming out! Absolutely loved it, will definitely be ordering more.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • I don't really like anything, everything is fine

Baking cookies just got easier

I love baking cookies but I often struggle with the amount of batter to make them ALL even. Since I'm counting my daily carbs, these cookies should be the same size. (and they look better when served to guests). This little gadget does just that. It's also a lot easier than a metal spoon as you can just fill it up and then squeeze a bunch onto the baking sheet. I highly recommend it.

Dough Sticks - more work than it's worth

Used for the first time and after about 6 cookies the dough started to stick to the spoon. This has resulted in cookies being half the size of others. Every time after that I had to press really hard and then make sure it wasn't sticking. I thought the whole point of silicone was "not sticky". My batter wasn't super thick or wet. It's easier with a spoon, but I wanted more homogeneous cookies.

I loved these

Okay. I loved them! (I've also bought another brand that gives the same result) I hate the sound metal cookie cutters make against my KitchenAid mixing bowl. In theory that would be great, but I can't get the dough out of the range without ruining the perfect little balls they make. If there was an easier way to get money, that would solve the problem and the bad rating. It would be great if the company made a regular cookie jar (with a retractable dough release bar) out of silicone material…

Not for soft/sticky dough!

First use was for Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies and I was disappointed. The dough was too soft for this tool to be effective. The batter stuck to the silicone, making the spoon virtually useless without another spoon to scrape off the batter. I'm trying harder cookie dough and have high hopes for success. Design suggestion: I would suggest removing the sharp edge that digs into my fingers when picking up the dough (with a big spoon). I'm not sure how I would even use this edge for cutting…

Probably works well but poor ergonomics

Sounds like a good idea. I make a lot of cookies and was planning on loving this one. It's gone down quite a bit. It's inconvenient to use. The handle is thin and flexible with a cutting edge on one side. At first I thought it was a right-handed tool, but it's quite awkward to use with both hands. So I sprayed it with vegetable oil to keep it from sticking, but when you're scooping dough with it, you can't just push it out with the same hand because of ergonomics. You either have to press the…
