This is a great crimping tool for the price. I have been looking for a while and found this one. I did not want a hydraulic crimping tool. It seemed like overkill. This one works very easily and crimps/cold welds as good as any I have seen.The dye's are all built in to the head and there nothing to change. By pressing the dye lugs on the head you can rotate the dye and select the size you need. Much faster than swapping them out. You also need much less room. A typical hydraulic crimper is large, and has a set of swappable dye's. They come in a large case and are very heavy.This set comes complete with the crimper for sizes 10 AWG to 2 AWG (10,8,6,4,2), and the set of cable cutters. There is also a carrying case for storage. Crimping is easy and very light work. As with any crimper, place your lug/fitting into the dye setting, insert your wire/cable, squeeze the handles together and you are done. A perfect cold weld. The crimper is heavy duty and very durable. It is also very compact for a crimper.It performs and fulfills my needs perfectly. It is an outstanding value for the price, and I give it 5 stars.
