my dog went through the collar for a week his puppy friends were gnawing and clicking on the buckles - got this one and he is holding up well we also have to give him the diversion behavior weaned because he chases cars these collar changes are cruelty free behavior this collar looks great !this is for dogs with (strong necks) not breeds with weak neck muscles it has some weight, will buy again if it ever wears out
