I love plush backpacks, but as an adult I don't have enough shoulder straps to carry them comfortably. If I were going to use these spares as a shoulder strap, they would be too short, but as a backpack strap, I have a few inches more room, even on my plus-size build. I bought three pairs in pink, dark brown and black. I cut off the existing straps and attached one end of the new straps to the plastic rings on the base and the other end to the handrail which is usually too small to use. However :)
