This set is perfect for fun. The gold leaf detail is perfect for Thanksgiving. The plates are strong and thick enough - they won't break or bend with a full plate of food. They are both good for dinner and applications/desert. Silver utensils are strong and convenient: forks are sharp, knives cut thick meat, and spoons are strong for scooping. The napkins are very pretty and fold in four so they are big enough to be useful. Napkin rings are beautiful and easy to use. Very happy with it.
