Plug and play with Win10 PC

I've used this for simple terminal operations on Cisco hardware on 3 different Win10 PCs and it's pretty easy. Windows will take a few minutes to finish setting up the drivers and virtual serial port. Then just start PuTTY (e.g.), select "Connection type: Serial" and change the serial line to COM3 or COM5 - whatever the computer has selected in Device Manager. , but can also be easily used with a USB extension cable. And I don't have to worry about cable wear and tear.
