After using these binoculars for a year and comparing them to my Redfield Rebel binoculars I finally saw the difference. Please note I returned the binoculars at triple the price from Redfield. I recently returned another pair of binoculars with a price equal to or better than $500 or more for binoculars. Countless comparisons in the shade of trees and shrubs, distant signs, structural details at great distances, at dawn and dusk, in cloudy and sunny weather have led me to conclude that it is superior to the other binoculars mentioned above. My most recent hunt included strenuous hikes up to 10,000ft with rapid climbs and these binoculars make the perfect companion thanks to their light weight, durability and EXO water/fog/dirt barrier. Although I've only taken it outside a handful of times due to dependence on my Redfield and the now-broken Steiner Predator, it will now accompany me on all my hunting trips. Please note that I believe I have an EDX model (on the Bushnell website the EDX is listed as BEN1042 and mine is BEN1042 SH) and I am not aware of any other Engage models.
