The bottom (inside) is rusty, having never been scratched.
The bottom (inside) is rusty, having never been cleaned, put in the dishwasher or cleaned. The kettle has only been used 40-50 times and has always been rinsed, never washed with harsh detergents. Rust or enamel will float in water and render the kettle unusable after a year. I contacted the manufacturer hoping to resolve this issue.
