As a big lover of loose tea, I'm looking for a clean and easy way to brew tea when I'm not at home. I'm a nurse, so something that requires minimal handling also goes a long way. I used to buy Teavana glasses with a tea strainer and found it very messy. That seemed like a good alternative to me, so I gave it a try. In general, this is a reliable device. My only complaints: - hard to fill. I basically had to wrap my fingers around the top and turn my fingers into a makeshift funnel to pour the tea in - it was very hard to pour out afterwards. It has a sort of squeezing mechanism that's great for herbal teas and extracting every last drop, but it also compresses it and makes it difficult to squeeze out without a knife or something to squeeze it out. Even then, you need to rinse thoroughly to preserve the tea. I really don't see a better solution to both of these problems without sacrificing other important features so I won't give it a score below four but still the factors that make it difficult to work in the public (and for me in the hospital) . My only option is to just leave the tea in the infuser until I get home and then clean it.
