First of all, no carafe is going to be easy to clean. To get used to something. Rinse it, pour out the water, get up the next morning and pour out the water again. There really is no easy way to clean or dry a carafe. Now for the good. That's a big carafe. Standard 750ml wine bottles don't fill them to the widest part of the decanter, two bottles would probably do it perfectly but I haven't tried it with two bottles of wine yet. Maybe I'll get a boyfriend when the Covid shit is over. The glass is nice and thick, which I like. It appears to be very well made and the punt handles well with two hands. I hit frost with a couple of bottles and didn't crack it, but it's still glass so be careful. I am very happy with it and would buy it again.
