Okay, the package JUST arrived and I was dying to open it. I'm giving this as a gift to a very special friend so I wanted it to be perfect. It's VERY close, but unfortunately just short of the target. So here's my analysis: Pros: 1) The packaging is top notch, perfect for a gift. I can only say "bravo" here. 2) The style is gorgeous, definitely indicative! 3) Quality can only be felt in the weight. This is definitely one of those sets you see in the office of a super powerful protagonist or villain. Cons: 1) Attention to small details. Each of the cups had at least 1 very small but visible blister upon close inspection. 3 small ones on a carafe next to the neck. One of the cups is tilted to the side very slightly, but only a madman like me would really notice it (you have to look pretty closely to see it). Conclusion: Would I buy this set again? Answer: Yes. I would be happy if it weren't for the bubbles, but for working with glass the workmanship is excellent. It just needs some quality control work.
