Advertised as "Authentic Recycled, Sustainable & Weathered Granary Wood; Handcrafted by artisans and craftsmen in the USA." At the price, I had my doubts. It's such a poorly executed fake, it's almost comical. Finishes are only treated to look like real reclaimed wood. The one sent to me has whole forgot to finish the interior surfaces of the frame facing the glass.The attached photo shows the front of the frame.The exposed wood on the inside of the frame (which would be fully visible if the frame were hung on the wall) clearly shows that the wood is not aged at all. Only the surface of the wood itself has been treated to appear aged/restored. The least they could do was to treat all surfaces of the frame the same.
