Well, these aren't the best pens, but they're far from the worst. I found them here individually (in a box, for example) but was happy to find them bundled at a significant price saving. You will receive 3 boxes with 12 colors: metallics, pastels and skin tones. Pastels and metallics are beautiful and have a decent variety. I have a large set of 124 pencils but it only has 2 metallics and a few pastels, they helped complete my collection. The skin tones could be better, but I find it difficult to find a good range of skin tones in pencils in general. Regardless, it's a good starter set in terms of skin and again a pleasure to add to my larger pencil set. Leads are a bit harder than I'm used to, but I just give a lot to make up for it. I'm an ordinary artist, still learning about colored pencils and techniques. So for me it was a good set of pencils. If you are a serious artist I doubt this is for you.
