. The truth is they should be selling something like this with an actual bottle of glue - something more substantial that fills porous gaps and imperfections - but they don't. I received them with full expectation of attaching them to the underside of the chairs with something more substantial. No tape in the world will fit, and when you buy something like this, it's essentially what it is - double-sided tape on the underside of the felt. The glue itself would probably be very good if each leg was perfectly level. all four legs are aligned and thoroughly cleaned before application. Imagine gluing this to the underside of a perfectly flat piece of metal - I doubt they'll come loose any time soon. However, chairs don't have to be in this condition - my chairs were particularly horrible with both the porosity of the wood in this area and the imperfections. If left alone, these pads have a very small area that would actually be wedged between the ground and the foot at all times, and tend to wobble and move quickly with the foot - as other users have noted. All I applied with hot glue before sticking. This helped fill in the significant gaps I had in the chairs and made the cushions more even. Time will tell if they sometimes fall off, but I suspect it was a good move for people who had trouble with them not sticking. a chair you may need to temper your expectations.
